In Class Work

Haie used to have an every day job on page 77 when they wake Haie up from sleeping to ask him a question he replys give you a kick in the backside for the way you talk and, after the war, he hopes to stay with the Prussians, Haie most values after the war meeting some women. Overall what Haie wants to do in the war right now is, He most values staying alive of course but on page 78 when Haie says, "rather awkwardly: "if i were a non-com. I'd stay with the Prussians. So he values right now while in the war to stay with the Prussians. That what he most values at this point in the war. That really makes me think why he values that at this point right now. In  addition to to what Haie wants to do during the war, He also says what hes going to do after the war. On page 78 This quote does not involve the narrator of the story when Muller turns to Haie and asks him, "what are yo going to do when the war is over? Will there be a women?" Haie replys sure. Then continues, "By Jove, yes." This shows he is making an attempt to change at least. As well on Page 86 Haie explains how he had a normal everyday job in the city. . This shows he wasn't of some high social class or anything he was just and average guy working in the cite before he got drafted. Like how Paul says, "Haie will go back to their jobs because they had them already. This makes me feel like he wasn't that big of a deal or was very important just and average Joe looking to serve his country. To conclude, Haie didn't change to much from the war. He did get an ambition to find a women after he gets out of the war but nothing really change him drastically. From what he want he did before the war and what he did after the war isn't to much different.
